Downtown Grand Rapids building evacuated
GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. – A three story Spectrum doctor’s building in downtown Grand Rapids was evacuated for a potential hazardous material situation this afternoon.
Bruce Rossman of Spectrum “out of an abundance of caution” asked the fire department to come and clear the Helen DeVos Children’s Outpatient Center at 330 Barclay NE on Tuesday, June 20.
They do not believe there is a spill of any kind, but there was a “funny smell” reported in the building.
